Administrative Assistant - Northglenn

Denver Recovery Group, LLC – Northglenn Clinic location: 11658 Huron St #300, Northglenn, CO 80234. Position is Full‑time. Shift: Monday – Friday 11:30 am to 8:00 pm. Starting pay $19.00 /hr with a raise upon successful completion of the 90‑day probationary period.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Answer phones, forward calls to appropriate staff, and take messages as needed.
  • Respond to phone and in‑person inquiries about intake and transfer procedures.
  • Distribute office correspondence/faxes to the appropriate staff.
  • Ensure effective communication among various departments in the clinic.
  • Check in patients through the Methasoft system and enter all new patient information into Methasoft.
  • Advise nurse if a patient appears impaired at check‑in before dosing.
  • Collect patient fees, enter them accurately in Methasoft, and ensure immediate safe deposit of payments.
  • Administer breathalyzers on patients, record results, and keep the nurse informed of positive results.
  • Schedule patients for intakes and the first follow‑up visit with the Medical Director or clinic MD.
  • Enter/discharge patients through Central Registry, ensuring intakes are registered with Central Registry before dosing.
  • Facilitate the intake process by ensuring patient UA and breathalyzer are completed; photograph taken and uploaded into Methasoft; appropriate fees are collected if applicable; all consents are signed prior to the medical intake appointment.
  • Monitor the doctor’s schedule and advise the Medical Director when patients are ready for an appointment.
  • Maintain appropriate boundaries in all contact with patients.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive data and patient identities.
  • Conduct end‑of‑day closing of collected funds and prepare for deposit by the Office Manager.
  • Make copies of intake forms, assemble charts, and ensure a ready supply for admissions in Patient Handbooks.
  • Assist with designing and implementing office policies and procedures.
  • Check Medicaid eligibility monthly and upload verification into Methasoft.
  • Ensure a safe work environment for employees and patients.
  • Assist the Office Manager with tasks such as ensuring an adequate inventory of supplies and equipment, maintaining office equipment, scheduling repairs whenever necessary, designing a filing system, and ensuring that these systems are up‑to‑date.
  • Develop procedures for maintaining records.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Participate in meetings conducted by management about the organization’s policies and strategic development steps.
  • Stay up‑to‑date on industry standards through continuing education, participate in workshops, and learn about new front office/receptionist procedures.
  • Occasionally involve light work: exerting up to 20 pounds of force and/or lifting up to 20 pounds.

  • At least one year of recovery from substance abuse is preferred.
