Andy's House Health and Home Services | Northglenn, CO | Full-Time
About Andy's HouseAndy's House is a transportation company, but our work goes beyond getting people from point A to point
B. We serve people who can't always get there on their own: patients heading to dialysis, seniors going to appointments, and residents of care facilities who count on us to show up. We take that commitment seriously, and we're looking for a driver who does too.
Our drivers are the face of Andy's House. For many of our clients, you're the person they see most often outside their home or care facility. You'll pick them up, help them in safely, get them where they need to go on time, and bring them home. Some of our clients use wheelchairs, walkers, or need a steady arm to the door.
Some are nervous, some are tired after treatment, and some just want a friendly face. You'll be the one who makes the ride feel safe and dependable.
Drive clients to and from medical appointments, dialysis, and other scheduled trips across the Denver metro area
Assist clients getting in and out of the vehicle, including operating wheelchair lifts or ramps and properly securing wheelchairs
Stay in close contact with dispatch throughout the day and adjust quickly when schedules change
Treat every client with patience, dignity, and respect
Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues right away
Keep accurate trip records in our dispatch app
Keep your vehicle clean, safe, and ready for the next client
Dependable above all. Our clients can't just call another ride. When you're scheduled, you show up, on time, every time.
Safety-minded. You drive defensively, follow the rules of the road, and never cut corners when securing a client or a wheelchair.
Patient and kind. You understand that some clients move slowly, some are in pain, and some are having a hard day. You meet them where they are.
Flexible. Traffic, late appointments, and last-minute changes are part of the job. You roll with it and keep dispatch in the loop.
A strong communicator. You speak clearly and professionally with clients, families, facility staff, and dispatch.
Familiar with the Denver metro area. You know your way around, and you know when the highway is a better bet than surface streets.
A team player. You support your fellow drivers and dispatch, especially on busy days.
Someone who cares about our clients, your teammates, and the company you work for.
