MOT Tester

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a respected Main Dealer in Northwich, Cheshire, for the position of MOT Tester. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced automotive professionals seeking a dedicated MOT Testing role within a well-established dealership environment. • Competitive basic salary of £32,000 per annum
• Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm, with no weekend work

• Conduct MOT tests in accordance with current regulations and standards
• Carry out vehicle inspections, accurately identifying faults and reporting on service needs
• Perform routine servicing, mechanical repairs, and component replacements
• Complete Vehicle Health Checks to ensure ongoing safety and compliance
• Work independently in a busy workshop, maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency
• Document and update vehicle records systematically

• MOT accreditation or a strong willingness to obtain this qualification
• At least 3 years' experience working within a vehicle workshop environment
• Full UK driving licence
• Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly
• Honest, with high levels of integrity and professionalism as the MOT Tester
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and support colleagues as part of a team
• Willingness to engage in continuous learning and skill development
