As a teacher at our sixth form college, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and challenging lessons that inspire academic excellence and independent thinking, teaching 16-19-year-olds in A level Mathematics and A level Statistics. We do not teach GCSE Mathematics. Collaboration with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and tailored support is essential. This role also involves contributing to the wider college community through enrichment activities and academic mentoring.

The Mathematics DepartmentThe Mathematics Department is the largest in the College with outstanding outcomes in all three subjects offered: A level Mathematics, A level Further Mathematics and A level Statistics.
Qualifications and ExperienceWe are seeking to appoint an individual with a strong academic background in Mathematics, to cover a period of maternity leave. A love of teaching and who has a passion for all aspects of the subject is essential. A Level experience is not an essential requirement. The successful candidate should have the ability to teach both A level Mathematics and A level Statistics.
An ability to teach another A level subject for example:
Further Mathematics or Computer Science would be welcomed, but this is not a pre‑requisite for the successful applicant.

- develop relationships with students based upon equality, respect, joy and high aspirations
