Permanent | Part-time (approx. 12 hours a week)

We are seeking an outstanding Visiting Music Singing Teacher to join our vibrant and successful Music Department at St Mary's School, Cambridge.

The successful candidate will teach singing to students from Years 7 to 13, working with pupils of all abilities from beginners to advanced performers. They will develop students' vocal technique, musicianship and confidence. They will also prepare pupils for ABRSM (or similar) examinations and GCSE and A Level performance components.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced singing teacher with outstanding performing ability and expertise across a range of styles, from Classical and Musical Theatre to Pop. Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills, together with a passion for inspiring young musicians, are essential.

This is a self-employed role, initially offering approximately 1.5-2 days of teaching per week, with scope for the role to grow. There may also be opportunities to teach at our Junior School in the future.
