We're currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer to join an FMCG manufacturing business in Cheshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established engineering team within a fast-paced production environment where you ll play a key role in maintaining plant reliability, reducing downtime and driving continuous improvement.

• As a Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for:
• Fault finding and breakdown repairs across production and site services equipment
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical faults
• Supporting continuous improvement and root cause analysis activities
• Assisting with capital projects and site improvement initiatives
• Ensuring compliance with statutory checks, GMP and site procedures
• Maintaining engineering stores and technical documentation
• Supporting and coaching colleagues on maintenance best practice
• Delivering effective shift handovers and engineering communication
• Contributing towards site KPIs including Safety, Quality, Performance and Service

• Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship
• Level 3 Engineering Qualification (minimum)
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment
• Proactive approach with excellent problem-solving abilitiesIND4
