Salary Range: $76,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

The OpportunityWe partner with manufacturers across Norton Shores seeking Manufacturing Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, optimize, and document manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality.
- Design, procure, and implement manufacturing tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) by establishing robust production methods and validating processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues, implementing root cause corrective actions.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
- Create and update manufacturing documentation, including SOPs and work instructions.
- Analyze production data to monitor performance and identify areas for process enhancement.
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, focusing on process improvement and optimization.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD) for fixture design and process layout.
- Demonstrated experience with Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, or other continuous improvement tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- Experience with automation, robotics, or advanced manufacturing technologies
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or demonstrated project leadership
- Proficiency in advanced data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Minitab, Power BI, Python)
