Non‑Ferrous Cast Alloys is seeking an HR Generalist to join our HR Team. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who possesses strong administrative, problem‑solving, organizational, and time‑management skills.

This full‑time, exempt position is located on‑site at our Foundry in Norton Shores, MI.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with talent acquisition – recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and new employee onboarding.
  • Administer benefits – manage employee enrollments and billing reconciliation.
  • Process payroll accurately.
  • Communicate and enforce employment policies.
  • Support execution of training and development programs.
  • Handle HR related inquiries and sensitive matters – disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations – referring to the Senior HR Generalist as needed.
  • Administer compliance with health and safety regulations, including training and inspections, identify and respond to hazardous conditions in the workplace.
  • Respond to safety incidents, including Workers’ Compensation administration.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance requirements, working with the HR Team to ensure policies and practices remain in compliance.
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
