Salary Range: $81,000 - $126,000 depending on experience

The OpportunityWe partner with manufacturers across Norton Shores seeking HR Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit, onboard, and retain skilled production, technical, and engineering staff.
- Manage employee relations, including grievance resolution, disciplinary actions, and conflict management in a plant environment.
- Ensure strict compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as OSHA regulations and plant safety protocols.
- Develop and implement training programs focused on safety, technical skills enhancement, and leadership development for supervisors.
- Administer competitive compensation and benefits programs tailored to the manufacturing sector.
- Drive performance management processes, linking individual and team goals to manufacturing productivity and quality targets.
- Partner with operations leadership to develop and execute workforce planning strategies to meet production demands.
- Proven experience as an HR Manager, specifically within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of labor relations, including experience with collective bargaining and unionized work forces.
- Expertise in EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) regulations and compliance relevant to manufacturing operations.
- Demonstrated success in talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies for skilled production and technical roles.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and data analytics to drive HR insights and decision-making.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proven experience in labor relations or unionized environments.
- Certifications in relevant safety programs (e.g., OSHA 30-hour General Industry).
- Proficiency with HRIS modules specific to manufacturing (e.g., advanced time & attendance, shift scheduling).
