Join Nooter Construction as a Full-Time Electrical Utility Estimator in Norton, MA, and contribute your estimating expertise to diverse electrical construction projects. This onsite position offers opportunities to grow professionally within a collaborative, customer-focused team.

This role involves developing detailed cost estimates for multiple concurrent electrical projects. You will analyze project specifications, drawings, and documentation to prepare accurate estimates and will present cost reports and analyses to project teams and senior management.

• Develop detailed cost estimates for multiple concurrent electrical projects.
• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and documentation to prepare accurate estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and supply chain/procurement teams to ensure a cohesive approach.
• Prepare and present cost reports, summaries, and analyses to project teams and senior management.
• Contribute to decision-making and project outcomes through detailed estimating insights.

• 2-5 years of estimating experience in the electrical construction industry.
• Solid understanding of estimating databases/databases such as Accubid, NECA, Con Est, and similar tools.
• Ability to perform conceptual estimates during schematic design, design development, and construction document phases.
• Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and strong computer skills, especially MS Office; willingness to learn new software.
• Associate's degree in Engineering (Contracting Engineer) or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
• Ability and willingness to travel locally (approximately 10-20%).

• 10-20% local travel to project sites.
• Walk, sit, stand, climb, crawl, kneel, lift, and operate a vehicle.
• Reach, handle, and manipulate objects; lift up to 20 pounds.
• Climb ladders and stairs; work at a computer station for extended periods.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and noise levels; maintain focus on objects at varying distances.

Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 per year
