Role Description
The Electrical Utility Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for electrical utility projects. This includes reviewing project specifications, conducting cost analyses, collaborating with project stakeholders, and ensuring estimates align with project scopes. This is a contract, on‑site role located in Norton, MA. The position requires close collaboration with the engineering and project teams to deliver detailed and competitive proposals.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Electrical Estimating and knowledge of Cost Control methodologies
- Experience in Electrical Contracting and understanding of electricity systems
- Background in Electrical Engineering and relevant technical knowledge
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with industry‑standard estimating software and tools is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
- Prior experience in utility or industrial construction projects is highly desirable
