Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

Immediate opening for an experienced full-time family nurse practitioner or physician assistant to work at a well-established practice in southeastern Massachusetts. Responsibilities include occupational health services, providing acute care, interpretation of diagnostics and ordering of medications and other therapeutics. The candidate must be a team player with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience, as this position will require the mid-level provider to work independently in collaboration with physician oversight and backup.

The hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm.

• Certified nurse practitioner or physician assistant through appropriate national certifying body for adult, family, acute and/or geriatrics care;
• Active Massachusetts State Licensure
• History of 3-5 years of experience working with a diverse primary care population;
• Experience with computer systems, including web based applications, Electronic Medical Records and Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, etc.)

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities - including prompt medical documentation after patient encounters
• Ability to exercise good judgment and clinical decision making
• Ability to work as a friendly and collaborative team member
• Strong attention to detail;
