Job Description:

We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our shovel crew. The position involves working as part of a set crew, consisting of three shovel crew members and one foreman, to clear snow and apply salt or brine to designated locations. The crew will follow a pre-programmed route to service various sites. Will be required to meet in Norton and will be transported in work vehicle to each location.

Key Responsibilities:

Shovel snow from designated areas, ensuring clear and safe pathways.

Apply salt or brine to prevent ice buildup and maintain safety.

Follow a pre-programmed route to service at +/-100 locations, each ranging from 50 to 100 square feet.

Work as part of a team, communicating effectively with the foreman and other crew members.

Be available 24 hours a day, responding promptly to work calls during snow events and for occasional post-storm clearing.

Maintain equipment and materials, ensuring they are in good working order and properly stored.

Qualifications:

Must be reliable and punctual, with the ability to work on-call as required.

Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including cold and snow.

Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor, including lifting and shoveling snow.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Prior experience in snow removal or similar work is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Capable of shoveling snow and performing physical tasks for extended periods.

Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Compensation:
Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
