Job Title: Material Planner - Supply & Logistics III
Location: Norton, OH 44203
Duration: 12 Months contract (Potential temp to Perm)
Shift: 1st shift, Mon-Fri (7:30 AM-3:30 PM)
Key Responsibilities:Materials & Inventory Management:
- Manage inventory and procurement of Teslin raw materials and packaging supplies.
- Monitor material requirements to support the master production schedule.
- Perform monthly raw material closing activities.
Procurement & SAP:
- Execute SAP data entry, including purchase orders and inventory transactions.
- Support setup and maintenance of raw material and supply records in SAP.
- Purchase packaging supplies to meet production demands.
Logistics & Transportation:
- Coordinate railcar movements and communicate with local railroads.
- Manage inbound and outbound trucking logistics.
- Coordinate hazardous and non‑hazardous waste shipments.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare daily and weekly production updates.
- Develop, update, and maintain SOPs related to materials and procurement processes.
Safety & Operational Support:
- Support EH&S initiatives, committees, and subcommittees as needed.
- Participate in HOP processes and Pre‑Task Briefs.
- Learn the Teslin manufacturing process to support KPIs related to Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Delivery.
- Participate in on‑call rotation.
- Train on basic supervisory coverage responsibilities for emergency or outage support.
- 5–7 years of experience in materials management, inventory control, procurement, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong SAP experience (required).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong decision‑making and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook (Microsoft Project a plus).
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
