Join iCook After School as an After‑School Cooking and STEAM Instructor. This role involves teaching children in kindergarten through fourth grade hands‑on cooking and nutrition lessons, along with STEM experiments that integrate engineering, technology, chemistry, and art into engaging recipes.

iCook/ iSTEAM After School is an innovative educational company that offers a fun, hands‑on program focused on cooking, healthy eating, cultural appreciation, and STEM. Instructors teach provided lesson plans covering basics of nutrition and healthy eating, as well as Engineering, Tech, Chemistry, Science through Art experiments.

• Lead after‑school cooking/STEAM classes for students K-4, exciting them with recipes, experiments, new foods, and cultural stories.
• Teach provided lesson plans on nutrition, healthy eating, cutting and measuring techniques, food safety, table manners, and related curriculum concepts.
• Purchase groceries for each class based on the recipes, with reimbursed costs.

• Experience working with large groups of kids (school, summer camp, etc.).
• Enthusiastic about teaching, cooking, and nutrition.
• Effective classroom management skills.
• Energetic personality that keeps students engaged.
• Punctuality, reliability, and reliable transportation.

• All classes run afternoon 2‑5 pm, each typically one hour.
• Classes are paired at schools located conveniently for you on days that fit your schedule.
• Maximum 5 classes per week (one per day) based on availability.
• Pay $80 per one‑hour class; $60 when taught with a co‑instructor. Total ~2 hrs work per class (instruction, prep, cleanup).
