Senior Accountant

Our client is seeking a motivated Senior Accountant to join a growing finance team and report directly to the Controller. This role offers broad exposure across the accounting function within a fast‑paced organization and industry. The ideal candidate is eager to deepen their technical accounting expertise while taking on meaningful responsibility and contributing to process improvements.

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, schedules, and general ledger activity
• Perform and review monthly account reconciliations, including cash, credit cards, prepaid expenses, accruals, fixed assets, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
• Manage and oversee the accounts payable process, including invoice review, vendor payments, payment tracking, and related reporting
• Coordinate and supervise work completed by offshore accounting partners
• Lead or support cross‑functional initiatives, including system implementations and process enhancements
• Develop customized and ad‑hoc financial reports for leadership and internal stakeholders
• Apply and explain U.S. GAAP concepts across accounting activities
• Handle day‑to‑day bookkeeping and transactional accounting within Net Suite

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a closely related discipline
• Minimum of 2 years of professional accounting experience
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and financial statements
• Advanced Excel proficiency (including lookups, pivot tables, and complex formulas)
• Experience with Net Suite preferred but not required
• Comfortable operating in an environment with shifting priorities and evolving processes
• Proactive, detail‑oriented, and eager to learn
• Able to collaborate effectively with teams across multiple functions
