Compensation: $75,000-$85,000 + 10% target bonus

Work Model:
Hybrid - 2 to 3 days in Fairfield County office

Our client is seeking a detail‑oriented Staff Accountant to join their growing Accounting Team. This role supports the accounting and financial close process and ensures compliance with U.S. GAAP. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills, analytical abilities, and proficiency in Excel. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential for collaborating across teams and managing multiple priorities.

• Prepare and post journal entries for monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of balances.
• Assist with intercompany reconciliations and confirm balances with subsidiaries.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and related disclosures.
• Perform basic variance analysis and assist with monthly reviews.
• Help maintain internal controls and support compliance efforts.
• Assist with external audit requests and provide necessary documentation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP.
• Audit experience preferred;
  Big 4 or similar background is a plus.
• Experience with Net Suite or similar ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• High attention to detail and professionalism.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA certification is a plus.
• 2–4 years of public accounting and/or a public company environment (minimum 2 years in a public company).
