Located in Norwalk, CT, Garavel CJDR has been your family dealership for Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, and Ram since 2002. We are seeking motivated and skilled Automotive Service Technicians to join our team. Our Service Department is high volume, collaborative, equipped with cutting-edge technology, and a fun place to work.

Compensation: $60,000 - $120,000 annually (depending on experience)

• Paid flat-rate method with a 40-hour per week guarantee (prorated for days worked).
• 
  Paid time and a half on all warranty work
  
• Paid 10 hours per day for manufactured off-site training. (Reimbursed for gas/tolls)
• Paid $50 for each FCA web-based training certificate.
• Holiday and Vacation time are paid at your average rate.
• Productivity Bonus for 111% or higher (paid weekly)

Flexible Schedule Shifts: Monday to Friday (lunch from 12 pm – 1 pm). We offer 3 different schedule options, including working one Saturday a month with a day off during the week:

• 7 am – 4 pm
• 8 am – 5 pm
• 9 am – 6 pm

Essential Functions

• Perform maintenance services efficiently and according to manufacturer and dealership standards.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems.
• Provide detailed written communication on RO's.
• Test drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools and equipment.

Must Haves:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an automotive technician
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Strong computer and technical skills
• Own set of tools (we provide the toolbox and special tools)
• Ability to fix the job right the first time
• Excellent customer service skills
• Motivated and driven

• Positive attitude

Physical Demands: Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear. Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Must be able to move in and out of vehicles often and sustain prolonged periods of standing, stooping, and bending.
