Guest Services Representative
Northeast Athletic Center provides a variety of sport programming throughout the year including but not limited to Northeast Volleyball Club programming, youth & adult leagues, clinics, camps, field/court rentals & more!
Job Description- Provide extraordinary customer service.
- Answer incoming phone calls with positive demeanor.
- Responsible for the overall facilitation of Welcome Desk/Fields/Courts/Walkways during operating hours.
- Ensure building policies and procedures are being followed at all times.
- Use a schedule to monitor and ensure usage of facility fields are timely and accurately prepared for all customers.
- Perform opening and closing procedures for the facility as assigned, including all assigned tasks on GS checklist.
- Greet all patrons as they enter and exit the facility.
- Use all facility resources to accurately answer all facility programming questions.
- Accurately manage Point of Sale transactions for bookings customers.
- Answer phone calls using NAC greeting script and respond to inquiries about sportsprogramming, Turf Rentals, etc.
- Keep all facility owned equipment organized and in working order for scheduled programming.
- Maintain a consistent perspective on cleanliness of the facility to our customers.
- Conduct emergency procedures when necessary.
- Attend all staff meetings and training workshops as assigned.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by General Manager and/or ownership.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Must be very personable, polite, and friendly.
- Must be able to keep neat and accurate records.
- Must be teachable and show a willingness to learn.
- Must be a team player, willing to cover or trade shifts when necessary.
- Willingness to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Must be willing to work early morning, late evening, and/or weekend shifts.
- Current Undergraduate or Graduate College students welcome.
- Guest Service staff shirts or NAC-NEVBC shirts/sweatshirts must be worn while on duty. In addition, clean and neat athletic wear, sneakers are to be worn at all times while on duty. If hats are worn during schedule shift, hat must be a NAC/NEVBC hat.
- Knowledge of sports is helpful.
Customer Service/Sales/Retail: 1 year experience, sports background preferred
Shifts
Schedule:
Mondays-Fridays 9:00 am – 3:30 pm, 3:30pm-11pm, Saturdays-Sundays 8am-8pm (depending on programming)
Hours:
10-20 hours/week
Compensation: starting at $17 per hour.
