Job Description:

Compensation : $210000 - $240000 Job  : 40884

Job Function:

• Work Scope:
  Full-time position covering newborn nursery and hospital pediatric care, including rounding on newborns, attending C-sections, managing phototherapy, occasional pediatric consults, and stabilizing newborns for transport.

• Shift
  
  Schedule:
  
  Six weekday shifts and two weekend shifts per 4-week cycle, totaling 13 cycles annually; each shift is 24 hours.

• Weekday Coverage:
  On-site presence required from 5:00 PM to 10:00 AM; phone availability from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

• Weekend Coverage:
  On-site presence required for the full 24-hour shift.

• Additional Details: 24/7 neonatologist support; hospital averages over 1,000 deliveries per year.

• Academic Role:
  Faculty opportunity available, teaching medical students

Job Requirements:

• Pediatric Residency required.
• BE/BC in Pediatrics.
• CT license required.
