Job Function:
Work Scope:
Full-time position covering newborn nursery and hospital pediatric care, including rounding on newborns, attending C-sections, managing phototherapy, occasional pediatric consults, and stabilizing newborns for transport.Shift
Schedule:
Six weekday shifts and two weekend shifts per 4-week cycle, totaling 13 cycles annually; each shift is 24 hours.Weekday Coverage:
On-site presence required from 5:00 PM to 10:00 AM; phone availability from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.Weekend Coverage:
On-site presence required for the full 24-hour shift.Additional Details: 24/7 neonatologist support; hospital averages over 1,000 deliveries per year.
Academic Role:
Faculty opportunity available, teaching medical students
Job Requirements:
- Pediatric Residency required.
- BE/BC in Pediatrics.
- CT license required.
