AB Staffing is looking for experienced School Social Workers that are available for the 2025/2026 school year.

Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a mental health related field such as Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work preferred. CT School Social Worker Certification (071) required. Prior experience in a school or youth‑serving setting preferred. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work effectively with high school students and diverse families. Must have the ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time;

see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids; hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in person and on the telephone; and the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions. May include frequent walking, standing, stooping, lifting up to approximately 25 pounds and occasional lifting of equipment and/or materials weighing up to approximately 40 pounds may be required.

Contract through the 2025/2026 school year. Contract follows the academic district calendar – 37.5 to 40 hours per week. Caseload and details of position/classroom type will differ based on school location. Provide individual and group counseling to students. Support students with IEPs and contribute to IEP meetings. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administration. Address issues such as attendance, behavior, and crisis intervention. Serve as a liaison between the school and community resources.

$1,750 – $1,925 per week
