, is seeking a Portfolio Manager to join the growing Inventory Finance team. This role is essential in managing dealer relationships, maintaining accurate inventory reporting, and ensuring strong risk controls across commercial floorplan portfolios in the U.S. and Canada. As a Portfolio Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of commercial floorplan dealers across multiple industries, including truck, trailer, construction, and specialty vehicles. You will serve as the primary point of contact for dealers, manufacturers, and audit providers—ensuring accurate collateral reporting, timely collections, and exceptional customer service.
This role is highly interactive and detail‑driven, requiring strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with urgency and precision.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of commercial floorplan dealers across the U.S. and Canada
- Serve as the primary contact for the inventory inspection (floorplan audit) process
- Review audit results, identify discrepancies, and reconcile findings with dealers
- Ensure the Wholesale system accurately reflects collateral status and audit outcomes
- Communicate with audit providers regarding irregularities or special requests
- Interact with dealers and manufacturers via phone and email to resolve account issues
- Lead collection activity, including principal, interest, curtailments, and maturities
- Initiate timely outreach to delinquent dealers and elevate high‑risk situations
- Document all dealer interactions and activities in the Wholesale system
- Forward required documents to the Credit team for curtailment or maturity modifications
- Collaborate with the Funding & Operations Manager to meet monthly KPIs
- Support escalated actions such as demand notices, defaults, repossessions, and legal processes
- Assist with training new team members and contribute to process improvements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Minimum 3‑5 years in Inventory Finance Dealer Commercial Floorplan Collection or Portfolio Management experience
- Experience reconciling audits/floor checks and completing rental verifications with dealers and rental houses
- Experience working with dealers in the construction, agriculture, material handling and other industries a plus
- Knowledge of various floorplan operating systems, valuation guides, reporting tools and credit / financial statement analysis a plus
- Must have excellent customer service skills, self‑motivational skills, self‑confidence, and a positive attitude
- Experience with wholesale or inventory finance systems (Solifi or similar) preferred
- Exposure to industries such as construction, agriculture, material handling, truck/trailer, or specialty vehicles is a plus
$70,000 – $97,000; based on experience.
