Our client is an investment management firm. They seek a Tax & Audit Manager to join their Rowayton, CT office.
Responsibilities- Oversee and administer accounting policies, procedures, and practices
- Examine, evaluate, and analyze GAAP, IFRS, regulatory, and tax matters relevant to the firm
- Partner with the corporate accounting team and auditors to complete year-end audits for domestic and international entities
- Supervise quarterly and annual tax filings as well as regulatory filings as necessary
- Assist with monthly finance and financial planning initiatives, as well as ad hoc projects
- Coordinate with the corporate accounting team on the preparation of monthly financial statements
- 7+ years of relevant experience
- Hedge fund or management company experience
- Audit and tax experience is a plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly analytical and detail-oriented
- CPA preferred
