The Therapy Department at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Norwalk is looking for a full‑time or PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide outstanding, individualized care at our esteemed skilled nursing facility. The PTA will implement care and interventions to improve patients' mobility through exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions.
As part of our cohesive team, you will treat patients, demonstrate empathy, and document treatment outcomes to enhance patients' physical abilities and well‑being.
Key Responsibilities- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility and function.
- Provide exercise instruction, massage, gait and balance training, and other interventions as needed.
- Document treatment outcomes and progress.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient care plans.
- Active state PTA license is required.

- Am I guaranteed 40 hours? While we cannot guarantee hours, we typically offer a full caseload. Most facilities are near each other, providing potential additional hours at nearby locations.

- What type of mentorship or support is available for new grads? We offer a comprehensive mentorship program, pairing new grads with experienced therapists for guidance on documentation, evaluations, treatment methods, and ongoing support.

Additional Opportunities: PRN, part‑time.
Salary: $33 – $40 per hour.
