IT Support Technician Level 2 at Beyond IT Support

What You’ll Do
  • Diagnose, repair, refurbish IT equipment (desktops, laptops, servers, networking hardware)
  • Troubleshoot hardware issues quickly to minimize downtime
  • Assemble and prepare equipment for deployment or return to clients
  • Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts, and test results
  • Manage and organize repair bench workspace and inventory of spare parts and tools
  • Work closely with help desk and field technicians to support clients
  • Assist in configuring and testing equipment before delivery
  • Stay updated on latest hardware technology and repair techniques
  • Perform onsite work at client locations as needed
  • Manage incoming deliveries and inventory
Additional Duties
  • Improve customer service and satisfaction
  • Fast turnaround of customer requests
  • Multi‑task and work in a team
  • Ensure requests routed to proper resources
  • Escalate service requests requiring engineer support
  • Enter all time, expenses, and work as tickets in Connect Wise
  • Complete Connect Wise University training materials
Who You Are
  • 3–5 years of solid experience as a Bench Technician or similar role
  • A Plus Certification
  • Comfortable with a variety of IT hardware
  • Detail‑oriented, patient, and precise troubleshooter
  • Capable of handling multiple repair jobs efficiently
  • Good communicator, collaborative, and client‑facing when needed
  • Reliable and proactive ownership of work
  • Advanced understanding of operating systems, business apps, printing, and networking
  • Strong interpersonal and customer‑care skills
  • Familiarity with MSP workflows, ticketing systems, or IT service management is a plus
  • Travel to client locations as needed (must have reliable transportation)
