Gardener

Columbine LLC is a fine landscape gardening and design firm founded in 1998. We work with high‑end residential clients in Fairfield County, CT and believe deeply in the restorative power of the natural world. We are seeking a skilled, motivated Seasonal Gardener to join our professional team based in Norwalk, CT.

Seasonal:
March through November.

Hours:

Monday-Friday between 7:00 am – 4:00 pm (flexible).

Pay: $30–$40 per hour, based on experience.

Bonus:
Discretionary seasonal bonus.

• Plant, fertilize, prune and maintain bulbs, flowers, shrubs and small trees
• Perform seasonal container and garden bed change‑outs
• Prepare planting beds (weeding, grading, mulching, raking)
• Maintain and operate hand gardening tools and equipment
• Support ongoing care of containers, perennials, annuals, shrubs and trees
• Assist the Operations Manager with job tracking, scheduling and basic client documentation

• 1-2 years of professional gardening experience preferred
• High school diploma required; some college or horticultural coursework a plus
• Strong plant knowledge and attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, accountable and able to work independently and collaboratively
• Physically able to work outdoors in varied weather and lift 50+ lbs
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and smartphone required
