Restaurant Manager Position

We are looking for an experienced, responsible Restaurant Manager who will support the General Manager. The ideal candidate is energetic, personable, engaging, and understands the technical aspects of great hospitality. Must have a flexible schedule, high‑volume experience, and be willing to roll up their sleeves for a hands‑on role.

Qualifications
  • Previous restaurant management experience preferred but not required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of proven success in a restaurant setting.
  • Serve Safe Certified.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft suite;
    Brink POS preferred.
  • English; basic Spanish preferred.
  • Full‑time, in‑person.
  • Available weekdays, weekends, and holidays (excluding Thanksgiving & Christmas). May be opening or closing.
  • 90% of work week spent running shifts; work on feet up to 10 hours at a time; lift at least 50 lbs.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct day‑to‑day restaurant operations according to company standards and policies.
  • Manage and supervise front and back‑of‑house employees; provide hospitality for guests.
  • Fully embody Sally’s Apizza culture.
  • Be the direct point of contact for staff shift‑to‑shift.
  • Mentor, teach, and train hourly line staff; build employee loyalty and teamwork.
  • Adhere to and coach SOPs for all front and back‑of‑house positions.
  • Solve guest‑related issues.
  • Maintain presence in dining room for smooth service flow.
  • Conduct daily pre‑shift meetings.
  • Perform end‑of‑shift closing duties.
  • Communicate operational updates to the General Manager.
  • Interview and hire new hourly line staff.
  • Administer progressive discipline when necessary.
  • Monitor staff performance and participate in performance reviews.
  • Assist with opening and closing when necessary.
