Seasonal Sales Associate

Join the loudest store in the mall! We're looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Seasonal Sales Associate, you'll be a key part of our success by providing excellent customer service, sharing your fandom knowledge, stocking and replenishing products, and merchandising the store in a visually appealing way, all while focusing on the in-store experience.

• Provide an engaging shopping experience that encourages customers to return, showcasing your product knowledge and customer service skills.
• Maintain visual standards by covering the sales floor zone and ensuring assigned areas are well-presented.
• Operate the register to process sales transactions, utilize your fandom knowledge, and promote add-on sales with benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup.
• Assist with planogram updates, including store maps, wall displays, fixtures, and merchandising mixes.
• Communicate fashion and music trend information to management and HQ partners.
• Work with Store Management to prevent theft and misuse of spells and wizardry.
• Help keep the stockroom organized and the store tidy, supporting the maintenance of the store environment.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve store goals.
• Perform any other duties assigned by your Store Leader.

• Previous retail experience is preferred. A love for music and pop culture is a plus!
• Strong customer service and sales skills.
• You must be at least 16 years old to join our team.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products using store equipment, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay range: $16.35 - $16.85 per hour. Final salary will depend on factors such as education, location, experience, and training.
