DIR, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT - CCL - SR. LIVING (NORTHEAST)

Compass Group USA – Compass Group North America division

Location: Northeast (NY/New England)

Salary: $115,000 - $135,000 + commissions with potential to exceed $200,000

Job Summary: As Director of Business Development for CCL Hospitality Group, you will lead business growth by procuring new community living dining and facility service contracts. Though you will not manage a staff directly, you are the “team leader” for all new sales opportunities and will report to the Vice President of Sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and secure new community living dining and facility service contracts.
  • Develop and present strong proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Achieve financial sales quotas and follow the required sales process.
  • Travel regularly to cover a large geographic territory.
  • Maintain a high level of self‑discipline and proactive work ethic.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all sales opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent relationship‑building skills.
  • Ability to lead through persuasion and vision rather than position.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • High energy, positive attitude, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong time, territory and multi‑task management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat and CRM.
  • Previous senior‑living or food‑service sales experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Extensive travel (≈50 %) on key projects.
  • Personal drive to achieve goals.
