Title: Field Crew - Restoration Technician
FLSA Classification: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Location: Norwalk, CT
Pay Rate: Hourly Rate (Depends on Experience)

The Field Crew Restoration technician performs production processes to fulfill the service needs of individual restoration projects and maintains the professional appearance of SERVPRO equipment, as well as an assigned service vehicle.

- Fire, water, and mold damage restoration, extracting standing water, demolition, set-up and take down equipment.
- Set up staging area and containment for each project.
- Leave jobsite with a clean and orderly appearance.
- Other ad-hoc duties assigned and requested by management.
- Effective communication with basic math and computer skills; preferred
- IICRC certifications; preferred
- Valid driver’s license; required
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
- Ability to work with/around cleaning products
- Ability to travel locally and out-of-state when necessary
- Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
- Previous experience cleaning, restoration, general labor or construction industry; preferred
- Ability to respond appropriately and interact positively with customers
- Must have a professional appearance and great attitude
- Capable to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
- Bilingual – English/Spanish, a plus
High school diploma/GED; required
