Under the direction of a Radiologist and Director, performs Mammography (Dexa, radiologic and CT procedures as appropriate and as indicated). Works collaboratively with members of the Imaging Services team and other departments throughout the facility to provide safe, quality care.

• Perform Mammographic procedures, including needle localizations, stereotactic biopsy procedures and contrast‑enhanced mammography as required.
• Review order and verify information to ensure the correct procedure for the associated diagnosis, annotate and label images properly including patient identification, complete procedure according to protocol, and coordinate procedure with various departments throughout the facility.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EMR and PACS, including proper documentation and charging.
• Maintain procedure rooms for optimal efficiency, including stocking supplies, disinfecting equipment, and disposing of soiled linen and waste following hospital policy and manufacturer’s guidelines.
• Keep equipment in proper working order and contact service engineer as needed; follow downtime procedures when equipment is not functional.
• Follow ODH and other regulatory guidelines.
• Continuously display a “can do” attitude within the department and across departmental lines.
• Work effectively as part of the departmental team to facilitate the department’s ability to meet its goals and objectives; attend and participate in committee meetings as required, utilize automated systems to communicate, accept and complete work assignments, and report to work on time and be ready to work as scheduled.
• Perform general clerical duties accurately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• PRN; some Saturday hours required.
