Hours:

Part Time + 2nd Shift.

The Person al Care Assistant assists older people who are functionally, physically, or socially impaired and need 24‑hour oversight. The role involves helping residents with activities of daily living, fostering independence and freedom of choice, consistent with the assisted‑living philosophy.

• Provides assistance with instrumental activities of daily living, including medication assistance, health maintenance, monitoring tasks, dining, activity programs, emergency preparedness, leadership, and administrative responsibilities.
• Demonstrates appreciation of residents’ heritage, values, and wisdom, and understanding of the aging process.
• Attends staff meetings.
• Participates in in‑service, projects, or committees as assigned.
• Assists in quality assurance programs when indicated.
• Assists in training new staff.
• Assumes all other duties and responsibilities as necessary.
