Medical Assistant – Executive Urology

Under the supervision of the Physician/Provider, you assist in minor office procedures and injections, perform patient intake assessments, discharge patients from clinic and procedures, educate patients on procedures and medication changes, and manage the message center including taking phone calls off voicemail and entering them into the electronic health record.

• Hours of Work – Full Time (Sandusky, Norwalk and Bellevue offices)

• Greet patients at check‑in and verify all patient demographics.
• Have new patients complete an information sheet, copy insurance cards, and collect co‑pays.
• Enter patient information into the computer and check patients in and out.
• Answer telephones, route calls to the correct party, and take messages for all staff and physicians.
• Implement medical plan of care, clinical intervention, and procedures as necessary.
• Assist patients to exam rooms, assess general condition, collect history, vital signs, and ensure patient needs are met.
• Document all interventions and patient/family responses; chart patient encounters on the day of visit.
• Label, document, and track specimens or tests ordered/received; report all test results to the physician.
• Set up instruments and equipment following protocol; clean exam rooms between visits per infection control and safety guidelines.

• Entry level – Medical Assistant experience preferred; registration as CMA/RMA/CCMA acceptable.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced clinical setting.
