The Maintenance Outage Coordinator manages the execution of maintenance and upgrade activities during planned and unplanned outages at fossil power plants. Technical expertise across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation/control systems is required.

• Work with outage management, contractors, and engineers to ensure execution of outage tasks.
• Review work scopes, technical drawings, and schedules to confirm agreement on project requirements.
• Manage contractors performing mechanical, electrical, and structural work on power plant equipment.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of work completed, delays, and any modifications during the outage.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.

• Oversight of steam/combustion turbines, HRSG, boilers, or valve maintenance.
• Familiarity with Balance of Plant (BOP) equipment.
• P91 welding experience.

• Oversee generator, exciter, and auxiliary electrical equipment maintenance.
• Minimum 1 year as Electrical Supervisor/Superintendent.
• Hands‑on knowledge of grounding, medium/low voltage systems, transformers, and P&.

• Calibration, testing, and tuning of control systems.
• Field experience with Distributed Control Systems (e.g., GE Mark V/VI, Ovation).
• Commissioning and startup experience with DCS systems.
• Interpret P&, electrical, and mechanical drawings.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
• Minimum 2 years of outage coordination or power plant maintenance experience.
• Experience with safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Estimated base salary range: $50–55 per hour. Competitive pay and benefits applicable.
