E&C Engineer​/Project Engineer – Plant Fleet

Opportunity Overview: E&C Engineer/Project Engineer-I – Plant Fleet Contract 1 Year Denver, CO – Hybrid Role (3 Days in Office) Must live within drivable distance of Denver, CO as no per diem or relocation is being offered.

Your Day-to-Day: Plant Fleet-based engineering role to support Client’s energy supply projects group to help manage capital projects at the power plants across the region.

• Manage all emergent capital projects at the plant and supporting larger base and major capital projects.
• Help develop scope of work, technical specifications.
• Help with quotes for equipment and bid proposals.
• Coordinate material deliveries and installation of equipment.
• Support reliability engineering in helping develop scopes and justifications for projects and putting those through Client’s emergent capital request system/process and would manage all the projects.
• Responsible for upwards of 20 small projects going on at one time in addition to supporting some of the larger base capital projects.
• Attend morning POD meetings.
• Oversee contractor performance.

• Bachelor of Engineering. No specific discipline required as long as it is related to work performed in a plant (civil/electrical/mechanical). Will consider other disciplines.
• 2 years of experience.
• Prior experience working in manufacturing/plant environment like a power plant.
• Previous experience with project management (cradle to grave) and project plan development, charters.
• Manage budgets.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications.
• EIT/PE nice to have but not required.

Base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon review of qualifications, is estimated to be $65/hour to $71/hour.
