Store Manager in Training – CVS Health

. The SMIT program is a 16‑week development focused role that prepares you for a future Store Manager position through self‑paced virtual and hands‑on learning experiences and coaching from District Leaders, HR Business Partners, Training Store Managers, and a Store Manager coach.
- Communicate verbally and in writing to support and lead your team.
- Perform customer care duties to deliver high levels of service.
- Execute merchandising strategies to support store sales growth.
- Manage store inventory and assets to maintain profitability.
- Actively engage in Key Learning Experiences to support your path to promotion.
- Support the store as a management team member, leading in a manner consistent with CVS values and policies.
- Engage colleagues in the company’s purpose of “helping people on their path to better health.”
- Be willing to accept promotion roles with the market you work in.
- Willingness to accept a promotion to Store Manager role at any location in the designated market.
- Ability to transfer to other CVS Pharmacy stores within the designated market.
- Ability to work a schedule that may vary based on business needs.
- High School diploma or GED required;
Bachelor’s Degree preferred. - Retail management or CVS Supervisor experience preferred.
- Full‑time, 45 hours per week.
- Pay range $18.50–$28.67 per hour (base hourly rate or full‑time salary).
