ODonnell & Son Heating and Cooling Inc is actively looking for a seasoned HVAC Service Technician to join our Field Operations team. The role is the front line of customer service and technical excellence, responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing a range of residential and light commercial HVAC systems. We value strong technical proficiency and the ability to provide outstanding customer experiences.

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems in residential and light commercial environments
• Troubleshoot issues with hydronic systems, ductless mini‑splits, VRF, rooftop units, and traditional split systems
• Communicate clearly with clients about findings, recommendations, and service options
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and customer interactions
• Ensure timely and professional service in compliance with company standards and local codes
• Utilize low‑voltage wiring knowledge for system diagnostics and control integration
• Collaborate with team members to ensure effective problem‑solving and efficient service delivery
• Maintain clean, organized job sites and company vehicles
• Follow all safety procedures and wear provided safety equipment
• Represent the company with professionalism and pride

• 3+ years of HVAC service experience (preferred)
• Strong technical troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
• Proficient with low‑voltage systems and controls
• Skilled in servicing hydronics, VRF, mini‑splits, split systems, and rooftop units
• Leadership and customer service experience is a strong plus
• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• Presentable, team‑oriented, and goal‑driven
• Valid driver’s license required
• Licenses or certifications in plumbing or refrigeration are encouraged but not required
