UCFS is looking for candidates who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others!
Essential Responsibilities- Conduct physical, developmental, and emotional‑behavioral evaluations of children and adolescents aged 18 months to 21 years.
- Perform specialty assessments (e.g., genetic dysmorphology, motor functioning, feeding/diet, sleep) as needed.
- Provide treatment services within an interdisciplinary framework, including psychopharmacology for ADHD, autism spectrum and anxiety disorders, positive behavioral interventions, parent counseling, and desensitization protocols for medical and dental procedures.
- Complete 8 to 10 evaluations and 40 medication follow‑up appointments per week.
- Attend, present, and consult during weekly meetings of the Autism Center and evidence‑based practice clinical teams.
- Meet with leadership of the child and adolescent behavioral health team to discuss complex cases and assist in developing specialized assessment and treatment programs.
- Consult with pediatric staff on neurodevelopmental issues and assist in transferring appropriate cases to the Autism Center or the Child Guidance Clinic (CGC).
- Serve as a consultant to therapists of the Autism Center, CGC, APRNs prescribing for children in therapy, and to the Child First Program on medical matters.
- Doctoral Degree (MD or DO).
- Valid DEA License.
- Completed accredited fellowship in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics.
- 3 to 5 years of related experience, with strong community health/public health orientation and patient care management preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
