Schedule:

8:15 AM – 2:15 PM, Monday – Friday (30 hrs/week)

The Student Support Paraprofessional provides 1‑to‑1, IEP‑related services and attends to specified needs of students. Working under the supervision of certified staff, the Paraprofessional observes and monitors assigned students to support learning, ensure safety and prevent injury. The Paraprofessional coaches students toward established goals to increase academic success and reduce behavioral disruptions, and works collaboratively with assigned teachers, clinicians and other support staff.

This position is part‑time, 30 hrs/week, no benefits.

• Provide 1‑to‑1, IEP‑related services to students.
• Observe and monitor assigned students to support learning and ensure safety.
• Coach students toward established goals to increase academic success and decrease behavioral disruptions.
• Work collaboratively with assigned teachers, clinicians and support staff.

• Previous experience working with children and/or adolescents in an educational or clinical setting preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques and procedures.
• Effective communication skills.
