  Dual-level care (Telemetry & PCU), Primary Stroke Center
• Unit Size: 25 beds (9 PCU level)
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Hours per Week: 36
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/6/2025 – End: 1/4/2026)
• Patient Ratios: 1:5-6 (floor), 1:3 (PCU)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990 - $2040

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Connecticut nursing license preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience
• Certifications:
  
  NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Strong clinical skills in telemetry, stroke care, and progressive care nursing
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with chest pain, stroke, respiratory failure, and sepsis
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data; respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital protocols and healthcare regulations
• Support a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and families in the PCU
