Senior Clinician –

Full‑time (35 hrs/week)
UCFS is looking for candidates who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others! We are currently seeking a full‑time (35 hrs) Senior Clinician to provide clinical services for individuals, children and families, couples or groups of all ages regarding behavioral, substance abuse, psychiatric or emotional issues through the development and implementation of clinical assessments, treatment plans and discharge plans.
EssentialResponsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day clinical oversight and supervision of clinicians and interns for outpatient behavioral health services while carrying a reduced caseload.
- Provide clinical assessment and client‑centered treatment consistent with quality standards of care, including evidence‑based practices that improve health outcomes.
- Assess risk level and appropriate level of care for routine and emergency clients of all ages who may present in crisis with complex and long‑term mental health or substance‑abuse issues.
- Provide on‑call support on site during hours of operation for both connected and non‑connected clients, including arranging referrals to other levels of care or emergency response, reporting suspected child abuse/neglect to DCF, and adhering to legal and ethical guidelines.
- Coordinate services with relevant providers involved in a given case within and outside UCFS (e.g., school personnel, Department of Children and Families, courts) and support continued collaboration with other providers.
- Weekly clinical supervision toward licensure hours.
- Training and development opportunities, including free in‑house training and a yearly stipend for CEU courses.
- Team meetings and case collaboration.

- Training in specialty areas such as ARC, TFCBT, MATCH, treatment of disordered eating and autism spectrum disorders.
