Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Position: Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant $15,000 Sign On Bonus
We are seeking experienced Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners who have urgent care, emergency room experience, or high acute family medicine experience treating both adult and pediatric patients, to join our welcoming and diverse community of providers in the surrounding region.

** Job Summary
** Urgent care Advanced Practitioners (Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner) provide a wide variety of clinical services including treatment of acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains and minor infections. Functioning in lieu of or alongside of a physician, it is essential for an urgent care Advanced Practitioner to have excellent assessment skills in order to recognize more serious conditions and direct the patient to the emergency room for advanced care when necessary.
** Job Requirements
** Education Work Experience One (1) year of full-time experience in Emergency Medicine or One (1) year of Urgent Care setting experience required. Will consider 2 years of Family Medicine experience.

Additional Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities

Work experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Room setting preferred

Experience treating patients ages 6 months and up in an acute care setting required.

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Preferred Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records Ability to be attentive with strong listening skills Strong communication and customer service skills
