Regal Care at Norwichtown is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing Services (ADNS) to join our leadership team. The ADNS will assist the Director of Nursing in managing daily nursing operations, ensuring quality resident care, maintaining regulatory compliance, and fostering staff development. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a strong nurse leader to grow within a respected and well‑established organization.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing all nursing department functions.
  • Support, supervise, and evaluate nursing staff performance to ensure high standards of care.
  • Monitor resident care and participate in care plan development and quality assurance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and company regulations and policies.
  • Participate in staff education, training, and orientation programs.
  • Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and families to ensure coordinated care.
  • Assist in staffing, scheduling, and maintaining adequate coverage on all shifts.
  • Promote teamwork, professionalism, and a positive work culture within the nursing department.
Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Connecticut (required).
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of nursing management experience in a skilled nursing or long‑term care facility.
  • Strong knowledge of DPH, CMS, and state/federal regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Compassionate, resident‑focused, and team‑oriented approach to leadership.
