As a Peritoneal Dialysis Registered Nurse (PD RN), you will provide education on peritoneal dialysis at Norwich Dialysis Center to patients and their care partners in a clinical setting, enabling them to dialyze from home. You will be responsible for the complete ongoing care of each patient to ensure their treatment stays on track.
Flexible Monday‑Friday 8am‑5pm schedule. No Weekends, No Holidays! You will cover census in one facility; must be flexible to support in other surrounding home facilities as needed.
Excellent Paid Training Provided! Dialysis experience NOT required.
Key Responsibilities- Train patients and caregivers on peritoneal procedures and self‑care on‑site in a clinic setting
- Manage a caseload of peritoneal patients, including assessments and care planning
- Monitor treatment progress and conduct occasional home visits
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high‑quality outcomes
- Monday–Friday, 8‑hour shifts
- Weekends and Holidays OFF!
- Flexible scheduling to manage your own caseload
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 12 months of RN experience
- Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required;
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three‑year diploma from an accredited diploma program may substitute for a nursing degree - Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook
