A school district in Connecticut is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide general nursing services at the elementary school level. This position supports the overall health and wellness of the student population and is not a 1:1 assignment.
Position Details- Discipline: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Location: Connecticut
- Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week
- Assignment Dates: ASAP through End of School Year
- Provide comprehensive school nursing services to elementary-aged students
- Support daily health needs, medication administration, and illness/injury assessment
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and administrators to promote student health and safety
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in care planning and health-related meetings as needed
- Active Connecticut RN license required
- Previous school-based nursing experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and clinical judgment skills
- Ability to work independently in a school setting
