Cook​/Kitchen Attendant

UCFS is looking for candidates who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others! We are currently seeking a part-time (16hr) Kitchen Attendant/Cook responsible for preparing and serving meals to residents.

This position covers two shifts from 2pm to 10pm during the week, including some weekend and holiday shifts.

• Assist in meal preparation with attention to special diet needs
• Prepare, set, and clean dining areas, and serve meals to residents
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Provide quality customer service and respectful communication with residents

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 to 3 years of related experience or training in food service
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• English language proficiency
