Selling Event Specialist

Overview

The Selling Event Specialist presents and samples Boar’s Head Brand delicatessen products to consumers in local retail stores. This role offers competitive compensation and a flexible work schedule.

• Build awareness of Boar’s Head Brand premium delicatessen products by engaging consumers through product sampling.
• Promote Boar’s Head Brand products by educating consumers on flavor, nutrition, and complementary products.
• Maintain a positive, energetic, and serving attitude.
• Complete additional activities or special projects as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three months of experience in a customer service or similar role.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience with food preparation is helpful but not required.
• Good food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to operate a slicer (training provided).
• Own transportation and willingness to travel to different retail locations within assigned area.
• Ability to transport and set up folding table, utensils, platters, etc.

• Stand for a minimum of 4 hours.
• Bend, twist, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl.
• Lift or carry objects up to 40 lbs.; push or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Work in a refrigerated/freezer environment.
• Must have an internet-enabled cell phone.
