Senior Practice Accountant

This is a full-time, on-site Senior Accountant role based in Taverham, Norwich. The Senior Accountant will oversee financial and tax-related tasks, prepare and review accounts for businesses and individuals. The role includes preparing tax returns, and providing advice on accounting and taxation matters. Collaborating with clients to implement and manage cloud-based accounting software such as Quick Books will also be integral.

The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent client communication, and proactive financial planning support.

• Proficiency in accounting software, including Quick Books, and experience with cloud-based accounting solutions.
• Knowledge of tax regulations and preparation, including self‑assessment tax, VAT, Corporation Tax, and related tax areas.
• Strong analytical, bookkeeping, and financial reporting skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple client relationships effectively.
• Preferred professional accounting qualification (e.g., AAT, or CIMA) but relevant experience in a senior accountant role more important.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with clients and team members.
