As Bookkeeper, you'll work closely with experienced professionals who pride themselves on delivering a highly personalised service to their clients. One of the biggest benefits to this role is that due to their growth they can shape the role around you, so whether you want to do pure bookkeeping, a mixture of Accounts prep and or Payroll, it's up to you!

Key Responsibilities:

Manage bookkeeping duties for a varied portfolio of local clients
Support with year-end accounts preparation, VAT returns and Tax returns
Support with weekly and monthly payrolls for a broad client portfolio
Act as a key point of contact, building strong and lasting client relationships
Respond to ad hoc client queries in a proactive and professional manner

What They're Looking For:

Previous experience within an accountancy practice or similar client-facing environment
Strong communication and organisational skills
Confident using Excel and Xero, with Sage experience desirable but not essential
