Senior Technical Accounting Manager
CompanyOur client is a dual FTSE 250 & NYSE listed Green Energy group headquartered in central London. They are seeking a Senior Technical Accounting Manager to join their expanding finance team.
Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate will be a Big Four/Top Ten Senior Manager with experience delivering Audit or Accounting Advisory services to US‑listed FPIs or businesses in the Energy/Oil & Gas sector.
Job Responsibilities- Lead the group consolidation process, including review and approval of accounting entries.
- Oversee the audit process, setting timelines and ensuring timely delivery of audit materials.
- Prepare quarterly management reports and provide insightful commentary to senior leadership.
- Deliver additional analysis and explanations as needed.
- Research complex technical accounting matters and prepare accounting memos for non‑routine transactions.
- Manage and mentor junior members of the finance team.
- Support ad‑hoc projects as required.
- Big 4/Top 10 audit experience is essential.
- Experience with Audit or Accounting Advisory for US‑listed FPIs or the Energy/Oil & Gas industry is essential.
- Strong technical accounting expertise, including IFRS reporting.
- Deep understanding of accounting standards, financial compliance, and financial controls.
- Highly organised with strong prioritisation and time‑management skills.
